Paul Simonon of The Clash talks to Ben Myers
"Simonon was too smart and multi-cultural to be attracted by the racist undertones of the skins"… Ehehe, durante la prima lettura mi era sfuggita ’sta cazzata! La realtà è che Paul rimase uno skin fino ai primi tempi in cui suonò coi Clash, addirittura alcuni biografi riportano il fatto che Mick Jones lo volesse nella formazione embrionale della band insieme ad un capellone perché era divertente vedere uno skinhead e un hippie suonare nello stesso gruppo.
